The Jaguar XJ220, when it was released, was priced at exactly $1 million. The car was in production from 1992-1994. Jaguar XJ220 can unmistakably be regarded as one of the super cars until now. Before the Maclaren F1 car was released in 1994, it was considered as the fastest car in the world with speeds up to 217.1mph. The production car that was released to the market can actually run from zero to 60mph in less than four seconds. Under the hood it packs a whooping 672hp and its rev limiter was removed to maximize its speed.

The car has a coupe body type so it can only accommodate two passengers. The upholstery of the car is leathery beautiful and leathery smooth. The downside of the car is its storage capability. Since the car packs such power, most of its engines are distributed all over the car leaving a little space at the back for luggage and other equipments. The Jaguar XJ220 was in itself beautiful in both power and design. However, its downfall is in its price as the delivery price of the car increased significantly. Another challenge was the modification of the car which was supposed to be already exclusive Jaguar XJ220.

Since its inception in 1992 there were a total of 281 Jaguar XJ220 produced. Only a handful is now on sale and the price is basically lower, though it’s still pricey for a regular driver.
